Hello, A colleague reached out searching for a support group for parents of a young adult struggling to build independence. They're already working with her individually, but wanted more of a support community. I'll put the referral request below. Any ideas? "I'm writing to ask if you know of any support communities for parents of young adults who are struggling to plan for the future/obtain a job. I'm working with a set of parents who have highlighted the pressure they feel as Jewish parents to help their 22-year-old son find a job after graduation. The mom reflected that this is an important aspect of their culture and commonly talked about in her social circle. My DBT Consultation Team suggested that I help these folks find community support and given your extensive work with parents whose adult children struggle with gaining independence, I wondered if you might be familiar with such a support group? "
