We are in the UK and have a 21 year old son who is “failing to launch”. He has dropped out of university and is in a deep depression - he has suffered with anxiety for many years. We are feeling entirely helpless and he won’t seek any help himself. He has in the past seen psychologists, a psychiatrist who diagnosed ADHD and more recently a GP who prescribed anti depressants but he stopped taking them after a few weeks. He’s also has chronic insomnia. Needless to say he isn’t working and family life is very strained and stressful.
Does anyone here offer any parent coaching via video conferencing and if so what would the cost be please? We are desperately in need of some help.

Thank you so much, Will. I have sent a message via your email. Sue
Hi VJ and Sue. I'm a trained SPACE therapist, registered with the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists, I'd be happy to help your families and can work via video conferencing. Here's a link to my BACP profile so you can see a bit more about me: https://www.bacp.co.uk/profile/8b3227ba-acf6-e811-a958-000d3aba670c
You can message me through there, on here or my email is willsessionstherapist@gmail.com If you'd like to get in touch we can talk more.
Hi Sue and VJ. I am a therapist located in California and would like to try and help you find some local resources in the UK. I think the issue will be that we therapists are usually confined to providing support in the state where our license is issued. Maybe we can try and train somebody in the UK to support you. Feel free to reach out to me via email deborah@deborahbrewer.com
Thank you so much
Will let your know if we get anywhere. Good luck with your grandson too.
Hi, we’re also in the UK and hoping to find a SPACE therapist who might be able to coach via video conferencing. We have a very anxious ASD grandson who has been a school refuser for a year now. Of course, lockdown has made the situation so much worse and we’re desperate for help. We’d be very grateful if you could pass on any contacts you might get. We wish you all the very best in your search and hope you and your son get the help you’re looking for. Thank you
